Barss Residential Care is proud to have initiated a continuing education program for our staff and managers. In 2008, we partnered with Susan Wehry, M.D a popular educator and nationally recognized long term care advocate to design and implement a training curriculum that helps insure residents receive the highest quality, state of the art, evidence-informed care. In addition to these quarterly on-site activities, Dr. Wehry provides educational “booster shots” via podcasts and bimonthly teleconferencing.

In 2009, Barss Residential Care will draw on Dr. Wehry’s expertise to provide educational programs for the Port Huron community as well.
